Soooooo good!I've been there years ago and it was a magnificent experience. I've been there again today and he was so good to taste again those "memories".This time we had a wonderful lunch outside. The surrounding forest is beautiful. With the dessert, it tends to become a bit more crowded of flies and bees but it wasn't a problem.Years before I had a lunch inside and the atmosphere was so warming and cosy. I dream how could be in there when you got snow and cold outside during winter time.The food is really delicious. My favourite dishes are the second ones. At my table we shared duck in orange, rabbit cacciatore and venison. I can't tell you which one was the winner. They were all so good that I could have eaten all of them. And the potatoes as sides were so divine that someone started stealing from the others (in a childish way but it didn't last long). Finally, typical cakes in various styles.Another great experience. If you come around Schia, I warmly suggest you to give a go!Totally recommended.

Impossible not to feel at home! impeccable service, warm environment, tasty dishes; kindness and hospitality make it a place destined to remain dear to your heart. Dining outdoors in summer is splendid, embraced by the surrounding greenery that knows no respite; it's soothing to have lunch inside, when the seasons change, welcomed by the warmth of the stove and the comfort of familiarity that this chalet emanates.The rabbit with potatoes is unmatchable, the first courses are light and tasty (an ideal combination, difficult to find), the special cakes and the summer semifreddo are top-notch... simply excellent!

Wonderful place, until rude customers arrive and ruin the peace that can be found here. Excellent food and service: all dishes are prepared the same day with excellent raw materials. Anyone who complains about the food and service should realize that they are in a place that is difficult to access and is particularly well looked after. If you want to spend little and eat poorly, just travel a few more kilometers and stop further on. The effort should be appreciated, otherwise a packed lunch and no unnecessary complaints. Reservations are recommended since here they don't work double or triple shifts to earn money, here they 'only' offer good food and peace.

A truly great place about an hour from Parma surrounded by greenery. Ideal for a trip out of town or for those looking for a bit of relief from the heat of the plains. Personally I ate some sandwiches, which were very good, because the restaurant was fully booked and unfortunately I hadn't booked in advance. Highly recommended

Yesterday after the excursion to the Grande Faggio, we stopped to eat fried gnocco with salami and cheese and a good glass of Lambrusco. Everything was super good, the gnocco was crumbly and not greasy and the cured meat was excellent, the managers were very kind... We'll be back soon!
